Hey guys! I tried this new creative recipe out and wanted to share it with all of you! This will make a great little snack for lunch while watching a football game on Thanksgiving Day! It's a great little meal to have while waiting for the main event! Leave a comment below if you've tried something similar.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Giant's brand Old fashioned pancake/waffle mix
- 2 Teaspoons of Paprika
- 2 Teaspoons of Cumin
- 2 Teaspoons of Giant's Brand Garlic & Herb seasoning
- 4 Boneless Chicken Breast
- 2 Tablespoons of Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon of Butter
- 1/4 Cup Canola Oil
- 6 Russet Potatoes
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
Directions:
French Fries:
- Peel and cut potatoes.
- Place them in cold water with a tablespoon of salt for about 10 to 15 minutes. This will give them a crisp shell. Then fry.
Chicken:
- Wash and dry the chicken breast.
- Cut the chicken breast in half and then in thirds. You'll want little cubes.
- Prepare 1 Cup of Pancake batter.
- Mix in Paprika, Cumin, and Garlic & Herb seasoning.
- Throw the chicken cubes in the batter and mix around.
- In a shallow pan, heat oil on medium heat.
- Place chicken in pan and cook until golden brown. Turn over and do the same so both sides are cooked evenly.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a separate skillet heat butter and hot sauce and reduce.
- Add chicken back in and let sit for 30 seconds on both sides.
- Remove from heat and serve with fries!
