11 days left until Christmas and my kiddos and I are talking about what kind of cookies would Santa like? My daughter (who is 13) is helping me keep the Santa spirit alive! My 6 year old is so excited to bake cookies. I'll post all of the recipes at the end of this post. We have come down to the top 4:

Gingerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients:
Gingersnap Cookie Dough:- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough:
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cinnamon-Sugar:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Peanut Butter Blossoms
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Additional granulated sugar (about 2 tablespoons)
- About 7 dozen Hershey's® Kisses® Brand milk chocolates
Russian Tea Cakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 egg
- 3 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon red food color
- 2 tablespoons finely crushed peppermint candies
- 2 tablespoons sugar
