Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups baking apples, peeled and cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped coarsely
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
Methods/steps:
Cream the sugar and the eggs. Mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, vanilla, apples, pecans, and raisins; mix together well with the creamed mixture. Pour the batter into a round pie dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes or until the cake is done and a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean, not doughy.
